The enrichment process ranged from the conceptual understanding to tapping into the causes as well as the solutions for managing aggressive behaviours.
Not only the teachers, students' aggression was also highlighted during the session.
Our teachers had a quick relaxation practice towards the end. This will hopefully equip them with the skills to train their students as well.
Key takeaways included realising the sensitivity of the issue, learning to take a pause, recognising the power of free will and so many alternative methods to manage aggression.
The school counselor, Mrs. Riya Mehra Tripathi addressed the teachers.
The session was well supported by the school management, guided by the School Principal, Mr. Mintu Dubey (who also addressed the teachers towards the end) and was encouraged by the Vice Principal (Administration) Mr. Pradeep Joshi and Vice Principal (Academics) Mrs. Manju Adhikari.
All the teachers ensured an involved participation through active listening and being thoroughly involved.
